The province of Guanacaste is one of the most beautiful places in the country, it is situated on Costa Rica´s northwest part, bordered by Nicaragua in the north and the Pacific Ocean in the west. This region counts with a pristine coastline, a picturesque mountain range in the east where a number of volcanoes can be found, and to the south, the Tempisque river and its wetlands. 

The Guanacaste province is famous for its spectacular white sandy beaches, exclusive resorts, gourmet dining options and for its stunning sunsets, specially during the dry season.
